About us
We are a strategic delivery agency working to help coastal communities thrive post-Brexit and post-Covid.
Britain is an island nation with a strong maritime heritage. We harbour a strong affection for our coastal cities, towns and villages. Yet many are struggling with a range of profound economic, social and environmental challenges.
Every coastal community is unique, but many of these challenges are unique to coastal communities. The Coastal Communities Agency brings together a range of specialists with expertise and lived experience to help address them.
Our aim is to raise civic pride, grow local economy and enhance well-being. Our approach puts residents at the heart of building closer relationships between Government, Local Authorities and business to inform strategic planning, secure funding and ROI, re-boot local economy, and reduce health inequalities.
